Fishing

Sports fishing suggestions in the mountain lakes and rivers

From the Dora Baltea, that runs along the central valley, to the clear streams that flow into the side valleys, to the Alpine lakes: Aosta Valley offers to fishing enthusiasts more variety than ever.

The  “Regional consortium for the protection, increase and practice of fishing” each year publish a fishing calendar full of useful information for fishermen: the necessary permits and issue points, periods and days in which fishing is allowed, the list of tourist and winter reserves, equipment, techniques and bait allowed. A specific map also indicates all the lakes and streams in the regional territory where you can fish and the relative fishing systems.

As well as the “free water”, there is a list of fishing reserves directly managed by the consortium as well as the private reserves .
