Situated in Entrèves in the immediate vicinity of the Mont Blanc Skyway cable car and the Val Veny cable car, the Pilier d'Angle is a mountain hotel created from the renovation of an old chalet with barn. 
The architect wanted to preserve the structure of the old Valdostan houses, where the stone on the outside and the wood on the inside are the elements that make it a characteristic, warm and welcoming environment. 
Easily accessible is the Val Ferret, immersed in spectacular scenery, below the Grandes Jorasses, where the cross-country skiing trails give way in summer to an infinite number of panoramic paths towards the alpine refuges, some of which can also be travelled on mountain bikes.

As a result of the mapping carried out in 2023 as part of the "Lo sci per tutte le abilità" (Skiing for everyone) project, the following was found:

From the Courmayeur motorway exit continue for approximately 4 km in the direction of the Mont Blanc Tunnel, as far as the hamlet of Entrèves. Turn right after the large curve, towards the centre of Entrèves, passing in front of the parish church. A little further on, turn into Grandes Jorasses road, where the hotel is located.l.
