The bivouac, inaugurated on 9th October 2021, is dedicated to Claudio Brédy, manager of rural development policies of the regional administration and former mayor of Gignod, who died in 2017 at the age of 53 during an excursion in the mountains of Valnontey in Cogne. His friends and his family, who owns the land where the bivouac was positioned and who paid for the entire structure, strongly wanted this bivouac.
