Description of the route
Go by car as far as the car-park in the small hamlet of Barmasc in the municipality of Ayas. From here you take the inter-valley trail no. 105, which starts as an unmade road and soon becomes a footpath which climbs up to Col Portola. Then you go left along the same trail and climb the peak of Mount Zerbion where you can enjoy breath-taking views of the central valley.
