Tour du Mont Fallère
Circular walk that offers a spectacular view on the main 4000
The Mont Fallère tour starts at Saint-Oyen or Étroubles in the Great St. Bernard Valley. Once you reach the Tza de Flassin alpine pasture, continue towards the Vertosan Pass and the Fenêtre Pass before descending to the Mont Fallère mountain hut.
The second stage takes you alongside the south slope of Mont Fallère, climbs up to Col de Metz and Punta Chaligne and then goes down to the Chaligne mountain hut, where you can stay overnight. From here, the path starts off flat, then it starts to slope down, taking you to the village of Étroubles and then Saint-Oyen.
The track, which is just as easy in reverse, passes through Gignod, Aosta, Sarre, Saint-Pierre, Avise, Saint-Rhémy-en-Bosses, Saint-Oyen and Étroubles.
