Full day excursion across chestnut and beech woods along an ancient military dirt track, famous because Napoleon and his troops passed by, at the beginning of the 19^th century. You will reach the Machaby Sanctuary, a shrine dating from the 16^th century, and its surrounding village.  The itinerary continues then towards Tete de Cou, where you can find some military ruins and climb to the upper hill, a place from where you can enjoy a spectacular view of the surrounding landscape. You will be able to see from the highest peaks to the bottom of the valley.
