April in music
Organics SkyGarden Courmayeur is the panoramic terrace at the foot of Mont Blanc, at the Pavillon intermediate station on Skyway Monte Bianco. Four events for the month of April, from 11am to 3pm, with the alternation of musicians of various genres, at 2173 meters above sea level, literally suspended between earth and sky, where the mountain presents itself in all its beauty.
On April 20th the Kilombo group performs, The sound of the new world. A unique experience, an unexpected journey between the boundaries of electronics and world music, between the use of cutting-edge technology and some thousand-year-old artisanal instruments such as the hurdy-gurdy and the bagpipe. The essence of the project is to make the listener dream and lead him into a bubble of sound that knows no limits, and which shows us how music can cross the centuries in an unstoppable sequence of suggestions. Kilombo is made up of a trio featuring Dj Pillola, Vincent Boniface and Rémy Boniface for a mix of electronics, diatonic accordion, sax, clarinet, flutes, violin and hurdy-gurdy.
