A three-day trek starting from Cogne (Lillaz), crossing the Gran Paradiso National Park and entering the Mont Avic Regional Park. The tour ends with the descend to Champorcher on the third day.

Detailed description the trek itinerary:

The tour starts from Lillaz in the early morning; it is recommended to bring a packed lunch and enough food for the first day. The trekking programme for this day ends with the descent to the Miserin Refuge. Overnight at the Miserin Refuge. The following day we will climb up the Pass leading to Campdepraz. Along the way we will have the opportunity to observe and admire some of the splendid lakes scattered in the territory of the Mont Avic Regional Park. We will stay at the Barbustel Refuge for the second night. The third day we will pass the hill that divides us from Champorcher, and we will descend down the valley till we reach the Champorcher village.

Difficulty:   E – Tour for experienced hikers with a good physical training

Number of participants:  minimum 6-maximum 15 persons

Recommended clothing and equipment: Necessary clothing: trekking boots, a backpack large enough for a three-day trek, thermos with water, snacks and packed lunch for the first day. Sheet sleeping bag. Headlamp. Clothing suitable for the season:  wind/waterproof jacket. Hiking poles are highly recommended.
