The geological and pedological path is a circular educational walk, that starts at Passo Salati (2.936 m), a mountain pass which can be reached by gondola from Staffal. Eight explanatory panels are placed along the way. The first stretch of path leads down to the Scientific Institute Angelo Mosso of Turin’s university, where many important geological researches have taken place. The walk continues then to Refuge Vigevano and Col d’Olen, before reaching the top of Corno del Camoscio, where there are some panoramic geological panels. After enjoying the fantastic view of Monte Rosa, the group returns to Passo Salati.

A real journey at the discovery of the Alps’ geological history and of the soil characteristics at high altitude.
