The Nature Trail « Les Fontaines pond » is a site of high natural interest. Along the path, 10 descriptive panels explain the peculiarity of the environment, flora and fauna.

Description of the route

Nice and easy walk on the left bank of Valnontey stream and Grand Eyvia, that can be done from spring to autumn.
After crossing Sant’Orso meadows and the little bridge in Buthier hamlet, turn right to reach Crétaz village (until this point the itinerary can be done with s*trollers and is accessible to the disabled people*).
Continue and you will reach Mougne houses, from where a flat mule track leads to Epinel village (from Mougne to Epinel the path is again accessible with strollers).
