Guided Tour VAMD - History, Art and architecture
As part of the "Val d'Ayas Museo Diffuso" project, aimed at valorising the cultural heritage of Ayas, with signage and online insights, today's proposal includes a half-day to discover the two towns of the Upper Val d'Ayas with the most historic centers interesting, rich in art and memories of the ancient peasant civilization, among ovens, cellars, wash houses and characteristic homes.
The excursion includes a visit to the two jewel villages of Ayas, with their alleys, the oven and the 1662 chapel of Lignod and the parish church of San Martino di Antagnod, with its famous organ and the carved wooden altar, consecrated in 1716, the most impressive example of Baroque in the Valley.
