Day 1

Meeting with the mountain guide at the start of the path leading to the Federico Chabod refuge, Pravieux area, a few kilometres from Pont, in Valsavarenche.
After checking equipment, we begin the ascent, along the beautiful mule track, to the Chabod hut where we will spend the night.

Overnight stay at the hut.

Ascent 3:00 hours - 900m

Day 2

Departure around 5:00 a.m. (depending on the season).

Initially, follow the path that gives access to the moraines and the Laveciau glacier. Here you put on your crampons and strap yourself in. One ascends along the glacier in the direction of the snowy saddle, known as the "Schiena d'Asino" (Donkey's Back), where one meets the track coming from Rif. V. Emanuele. After a steeper section, you reach the base of the last ridge. A few easy climbing passages between granite blocks and you reach the summit. The descent is along the same route.
