Guided tour at the Antagnod Sacred Art Museum
New appointment of "Ayas Museo Diffuso", a project aimed at creating an information circuit for the valorization of cultural heritage in the area.
On this occasion, a guided tour of the Museum of Sacred Art will be offered, which is located in the chapel of the Antagnod cemetery (late 15th century), next to the parish church of San Martino. Among the works on display are: Chapel altar (mid-17th century), Various statues of the Virgin, saints and angels, Pairs of reliquary busts (18th century) in carved, painted and gilded wood.
The museum also preserves the Vierge Ouvrante found inside the parish church of Antagnod and dating back to the mid-1300s, a very rare statue depicting a Virgin enthroned with the Child standing on her left knee.
