A full day excursion.

A journey back in time in the alpine rural culture. At the discovery of the marvellous basin of Pila and its mountain pastures, from where you can admire the main four-thousand-metres peaks in the Aosta Valley: Mont Blanc, Mont Rose, Matterhorn and Grand Combin (this last is situated the Swiss territory).

Time of the excursion: 6h30 including a stop for lunch
Height difference: 500 metres
Difficulty: E (for hikers)
Number of participants; minimum 6 persons per group
Number of participants: maximum 20 persons per group
Recommended equipment and materials: trekking boots, rucksack with a bottle of water and packed lunch.
And what happens in case of bad weather?: In the event of extremely bad weather the excursion will be cancelled. A cash refund to will be returned to the participants.
In case of rain: the excursion will take place, there is also the possibility to cancel it and to return a cash refund to the participants.

You can reach the locality of Pila (starting point of hike) by car, but also by cable-car from the town of Aosta.
