The itinerary is accessible to strollers for a stretch of about 600 meters up to the entrance of the path.

The excursion has as its starting point the parking lot located in the Chenaux hamlet of Pollein. To reach the place of departure if coming from Aosta - Plan Félinaz you must turn right immediately after the white bridge over the stream at the entrance of the village and follow the signs for Chenaux. Go up along a straight along the stream for about 500 meters until you reach the parking lot next to the fountain. The sign with indication of the Cammino Balteo is in that point and along the route you must always follow this indication, it is in fact a stretch of the Cammino Balteo of Aosta Valley.
Leaving the car park, take the road on the right, slightly downhill. The view is wide on the “Plaine” of Aosta and on the Gran San Bernardo valley. After a few minutes, turn right on a dirt road. The itinerary goes through a broad-leaved forest, sometimes sunny and sometimes in shadow, crossing path 1 uphill.
After about 20 minutes you leave the dirt road and turn left along a downhill path. Reached the village of Moulin cross the Arpisson stream. Then proceed to the right on the path that climbs for a short distance and continues flat in the wood. Along the path you will cross
another torrent, pay attention when crossing the torrent. Continue on the path which shortly after rejoins a farm road and then you reach the paved road that descends towards the hamlet of Château. At the bend, take the downhill path towards Château. The return is scheduled on the same path. If you like, you can continue further, always following the signpost of the Cammino Balteo.
