Where to swim in Valle d’Aosta: indoor and outdoor swimming pools
The clear waterways in Aosta Valley enable you to experience amazing sporting activities, such as rafting or hydrospeed, but they are definitely not suitable for swimming; even the numerous mountain lakes, which are often the destination of splendid excursions, cannot be classified to allow swimming.
To swim and, perhaps, relax after a day on the skis, there are various indoor public pools available; some of these also offer heated baths (particularly suitable for children) or structures with saunas and Turkish baths. These complexes are added to by some swimming pools belonging to private structures, often hotels, open to the public and frequently connected to actual well-being centres.
In the summer, you can relax in the sun by one of the various outdoor swimming pools, emerged in greenery and sometimes supplied with equipment for other sporting disciplines or to amuse young children.
